Post Baccalaureate Fellowship in Criminal Justice

Blue Ridge Court Services, a public non-profit agency providing alternative sentencing options for the courts in the Central Shenandoah Valley, is accepting applications for a one-year post baccalaureate fellowship.  We are seeking a recent college graduate with a major in psychology, sociology, social work or criminal justice who is interested in an intensive learning experience to become a part of our member team.  This position will also serve as our Re-entry Coordinator for the year. 

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in each of our agency’s eight program areas: 

 

1. Local Probation
2. Pretrial Services
3. Home Electronic Monitoring
4. Domestic Violence Program
5. Staunton, Augusta and Waynesboro Drug Court
6. Re-entry Services
7. Pretrial Initiative on Mental Illness
8. Staunton-Augusta Therapeutic Docket Program
